The Human Resources Generalist position is an immersive and team-based position where we’ll provide you with all the tools and training you need to build your career in Human Resources. There are no coffee grabbing duties here! You will be an instrumental player in our two-person HR Team, gain hands-on experience all aspects of HR, with the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

· Assists with administration of HR, including health and welfare plans as directed by HR Director.

· Assists with recruitment and interview process. Will schedule interviews, track status of candidates and respond with follow-up emails at the end of the recruiting process.

· Develop positive working relationships with all colleagues.

· Process firm payroll, or assists with firm payroll

· Assists with new hires including background checks, onboarding, E-Verify and maintains employee files.

Qualifications

· 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources

· Basic understanding of Human Resources best practices

· Experience processing payroll

· Experience in assisting

· Ability to work in a team environment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.
