Team Veris returned to the Ronald McDonald House, rolled up their sleeves, and got busy helping with their facility. Some team members cleaned every nook and cranny, while others took to the kitchen and prepped fresh veggies. This year, Paige attended EPA’s Chinese New Year festival. The room was transformed with Chinese cultural elements and the entertainment was lively with traditional Chinese performers. This holiday season, Team Veris chose the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree as their Give Back event. We received the Angel cards, divvied them up amongst the team and got busy shopping! The Angels included boys and girls spanning several age levels which offered some fun shopping opportunities. Team Veris filled those bags to the top with bikes, games, clothing, and toys! What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season by fulfilling the needs and wishes of children in the Lowcountry.
Justin, Melissa, Chris and Rachel were swept away down the rabbit hole at the CYDC’s Night for the Children Gala. The Alice in Wonderland theme was elegantly carried through the decorations, gifts, and whimsical desserts and drinks.
