Jenara Noel is a Partner at Veris CPA specializing in Client Accounting Services (CAS), with extensive experience serving charter schools and nonprofit organizations. She works closely with clients to help them understand their financial position, make informed decisions, and use their financial information to further their mission and goals.
Jenara’s approach goes well beyond delivering financial reports. She takes the time to walk clients through what the numbers mean, identify the areas that deserve their attention, and recommend concrete next steps. She also serves as a sounding board for day-to-day decisions, board discussions, budgeting, and “what if” scenarios. What she enjoys most is becoming part of a client’s team and seeing the organization grow and fulfill its purpose.
Jenara began her career in public accounting, working in audit before spending several years in private industry. She ultimately found her way back to public accounting when she joined Veris as a Senior Accountant and worked her way up to Partner. Her experience on both sides of the accounting relationship gives her a practical perspective on the financial and operational challenges her clients face.
Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jenara also spent part of her childhood in Greenville, South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Limestone University and her MBA from The Citadel.
Jenara lives in Summerville. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, listening to all types of music, and traveling to see her favorite artists in concert. When she’s not doing one of those things, she’s perfectly happy being a homebody.
