Team Veris had the opportunity to work with an awesome local nonprofit called Going Places. Their mission is to provide disadvantaged kids with their most basic childhood right – A right to Joy. That joy was in the form of providing a new bicycle, helmet, and lock to every student in a local Title I school. Our team, armed with wrenches and screwdrivers helped build 390 bikes! Then we hit the campus, lined them all up, covered them with a tarp and did the BIG REVEAL in front of all the children and teachers. What an amazing moment to see and hear the squeals of joy from the children. What a gift those children gave to us that day!
