These are challenging times with the spread of the Coronavirus. So many people, schools, and businesses are feeling the economic impact from cancellations and closures. Team Veris wanted to give a shout out to these great schools who had to cancel their biggest fundraising events. We have supported them through event sponsorships, year after year.
Team Veris had such a warm heart after last year’s Angel Tree, that we decided to go back to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree for our give back this year. We received the Angel cards and hit the stores to shop! The Angels included boys and girls spanning several age levels which offered some fun
Team Veris returned to the Ronald McDonald House, rolled up their sleeves, and got busy helping with their facility. Some team members cleaned every nook and cranny, while others took to the kitchen and prepped fresh veggies. Excited to kick off the summer helping this amazing group who helps our community in so many ways.
Team Veris members Kristen, Kate and Kaylee laced up their running shoes to participate in the 11 th Annual Beaufort Twilight Run. The Habersham Marketplace was the perfect spring backdrop for this festival with over 2600 runners. This year, Paige attended EPA’s Chinese New Year festival. The room was transformed with Chinese cultural elements and the entertainment was lively with traditional Chinese performers. This holiday season, Team Veris chose the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree as their Give Back event. We received the Angel cards, divvied them up amongst the team and got busy shopping! The Angels included boys and girls spanning several age levels which offered some fun shopping opportunities. Team Veris filled those bags to the top with bikes, games, clothing, and toys! What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season by fulfilling the needs and wishes of children in the Lowcountry.
Justin, Melissa, Chris and Rachel were swept away down the rabbit hole at the CYDC’s Night for the Children Gala. The Alice in Wonderland theme was elegantly carried through the decorations, gifts, and whimsical desserts and drinks. Veris enjoys sponsoring this event each year as it benefits the most vulnerable children and families in the Lowcountry.
